My initial role was to develop Montana Decoy's new website. Following several months and numerous commits to GitHub, a different direction was taken with the redesign. In addition to my role as a developer, I was then placed in charge of redesigning Montana Decoy's website.
After laying out an initial style guide and reworking some of the site's structure, it was right into the development process. While I was familiar with exclusively designing or developing for a single project of this scale, undertaking design and development simultaneously for a client with a month's deadline was a new experience.
The website redesign needed to appeal to their outdoor audience, further increase their product sales, integrate social through their website, and provide a user friendly experience form basic browsing capabilities to the checkout process.
The website was built on Craft CMS.
